Peppermint Chocolate

1 package devils food cake mix
3 eggs
2/3 cup oil
2 Tablespoon peppermint schnapps
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips

 

 

In bowl at low speed beat cake mix with sour cream, oil, eggs and peppermint schnapps until combined, about 1 minute. Increase speed to medium , beat until light and fluffy. About 2 minutes. Stir in chocolate chips divide batter between two 8 inch round floured pans.

Bake 350 degrees for about 30-35 minutes.

Cool on rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pans cool completely on racks. after completely cool fill center with filling and frost with chocolate icing and top iced cake with peppermint candies cut in quarters and lay around the top of the cake.
