Raisin Spice
1 3/4 cups flour
1 cup sugar
2 egg beaten
1/2 cup shortening
2 cups water
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon allspice
1 cup raisins

Plump raisins in water sit aside. Mix all ingredients
together. Drain water from raisins and add to mix then mix well. Grease and flour 9x13
pan.Cool completely then frost with boiled coconut
frosting. This frosting is in the frosting recipes under

Bake 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes. |
