Cookie Buttercream

I use this one for rolled and cut butter/ sugar cookies.

1 stick butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk (more or less)
1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
generous pinch of salt

 

 

Beat all ingredients together until the desired consistency is reached. To ice the cookies smooth, you'll want it a little thinner so, you may want to add more milk. If you want to ice them thickly or for piping on the cookies, leave it a thicker consistency.
