Poppyseed & Nut Filling

1 cup Poppy seeds
2 Tablespoon Corn syrup
1 Tablespoon Chopped citron
1/2 cups Chopped nuts
2 Tablespoons Butter
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1/2 cups Raisins
1 cup Milk

 

 

Put washed and drained poppy seeds through finest blade of food chopper and mix with rest of ingredients EXCEPT vanilla. Let mixture cook over slow heat until thick, stirring often. Cool and add vanilla.
