We have found a hotel: The Holiday Inn Crystal Lake. Here is a link to the hotel:

The rate for June 3-6 for a room with 2 double beds is $64 (plus whatever taxes). Up to 5 adults are allowed in this room, so if anyone wants to share double beds, the room would be REALLY cheap. This rate is for advanced booking only and is charged to your credit card at the time of booking. NO CANCELLATION ALLOWED. Once you book, you're money is spent.

But, if you're definitely going, it would be nice to be able to take advantage of this rate.

This hotel is 5.44 miles from my dad's house. They offer a free shuttle to anywhere within a 5 mile radius. Don't know if they'll give in for the extra .44 miles or not. If not, I will play shuttle mom!!!

There is a restaurant and lounge inside the hotel, along with a pool and fitness center. Please remember your bathing suits because Dad has a hot tub.

Also, we need to let Sharon make her plane reservations so she doesn't loose a good deal there too. Plane reservations are also non-refundable, so she needs to be sure of this.

Please respond ASAP so we can have a headcount and know who will be sharing rooms, etc. Also, I apologize for forgetting to mention, but we agreed to pay Sharon's flight & hotel as she is flying in to be our teacher. If she can book right now, it looks like her hotel will run approx. $100 for 3 nights and her plane is approx. $300. That will be divided equally between all who go - so far there are 6 definite, so we're at $66 each to cover Sharon's expenses (Sharon is one of the 6; she's in the pool to divide equally). That will go down as more people confirm.
