Prepare cake to be covered with fondant by lightly icing with buttercream. Roll chocolate fondant 1/8 in. thick. Cover cake with chocolate fondant. Position shirt pattern on cake; cut out from chocolate fondant. Cut shirt from white fondant, using pattern, and position in cut area on cake. Cut out lapels and bow tie from fondant using patterns; attach to cake with dots of icing. Cut a 1 in. x 4 in. strip of white fondant and roll for ribbon rose. Score shirt pleats with knife. Cut buttons from chocolate fondant, using wide end of standard tip; attach to shirt with icing. Serves 12.
